reference field in editable alv

hi to all experts,

in my alv report there are 2 editable fields chckbox and menge

im building up the catalog with the fields description as QTY TO PRINT

if i assign the reference fieldname and reference tabname to field catalog im getting error description does not match the target field after im getting the error field symbol not assigned please help

u have to pass the internal table name in CAPS..

ex:

call function 'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE'

exporting

i_internal_tabname = 'ILINE'

i_structure_name = 'ZSTOCK'

changing

ct_fieldcat = _fieldcat.

loop at fieldcat into lsfieldcat.

case ls_fieldcat-fieldname.

when 'DEPT'.

ls_fieldcat-no_out = 'X'.

when 'DESCR'.

ls_fieldcat-no_out = 'X'.

when 'GOOD_PRD'.

ls_fieldcat-do_sum = 'X'.

endcase.

modify fieldcat from lsfieldcat.

endloop.
