Hi Experts,

I want to creat a listbox using FM RP_OPTIONS_INTO_STRING.

And I want to set some fields as mandatory fields such as Personal number and

Company code. I noticed there is a column in the component named 'Requried'

Does anyone know how to set value for 'Required'?

Thanks in advance!

Graham

Hi Graham,

I know what you mean but unfortunately you cannot control this via this FM RP_OPTIONS_INTO_STRING. Best thing would be to achieve the same functionality by calling a different FM which is FIELD_CHOICE. Its well documented in ECC6.0.

The parameters NOSORT, INITIAL_SORT, NOMOVE and NOTDELETEABLE of this FM can be used to specify the sorting of the selection set, the sequence of the selected fields or whether fields can be deleted from the output list (thus making use of the "Required" parameter in the list box).

FYI, the FM RP_OPTIONS_INTO_STRING calls the FM FIELD_CHOICE but it does not provide the option itself to control the (sort, move, delete) parameters as explained above.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Sougata.
