table conversion

i have one table now i changed particular field data element and domain

in se 14 it is converted .

the conversion process stoped at step 5.

Try Adjust and activate.

i already use tcode se14(data base utility)

here i gave my table name

enter 'activate and adjust table'.

here the conversion is stoped.

it shows error in step 5.

i check for objlog it gives 'bdc_field_error'

i found one thing why it is going error

that is i will expplain what i did:

step1:ztable i changed field dataelement and domain

previously dataelementis zqaun and domain he used zqaun with technical attributes char type quan,

char length:16

no of decimal places:2

now i changed data elemnet and domain

my data element is ze_quan and domain is zd_quan

for this domain ealier i gave char type 'quan'.

length '4'.

decimal places '2'.

now i activated table in se14.

here conversion is stopped at step 5.

it is giving error bdc_field_overflow'.

now i changed the domain zd_quan chat type 'quan'.

length 16'

decimal places '2'.

when i activate this it is partially active.

now i want to activate this domain and i have to adjaust in se14.

how shouild i proceed.

First activate the domain(SE11) and then again adjust the table.
