Reg : File name change based on parameter value

Hi All,

I am having a requirement like there are two radio buttons in my selection screen and hhe download path name filed.

for example.

1) Radio button 1 to download the contents in to presentation server

2) Radio button 2 to download the contetns in to application server.

if the user click the radio button 1 the file path details should come as D:/TEMP/FILE.XLS

if the user clicks the radio button 2 the file path detils should come as unix\serve\path.

can any one suggest me how to do that?

Hi,

U can fullfill your requirement using AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT event .

for ex P_DOWNLOAD_PRESERVER and P_DOWNLOAD_APPSERVER are the two parameters .

IN this event u can write the code as follows.

AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT .

IF R1 = 'X'.

LOOP AT SCREEN .

if SCREEN-NAME = 'P_DOWNLOAD_APPSERVER'

SCREEN-INACTIVE = '1' OR screen-input = 0.

modify screen

endif.

endloop.

elseif r2= 'X'.

LOOP AT SCREEN .

if SCREEN-NAME = 'P_DOWNLOAD_PRESERVER'

SCREEN-INACTIVE = '1' OR screen-input = 0.

modify screen

endif.

endloop.

Hi,

EX:

Parameters: RD1 Radiobutton Group Grp1 ,

RD2 Radiobutton Group Grp1.

Start-of-selection/End-Of-Selection.

If RD1 = 'X'.

GUI_DOWNLOAD----Function Module to download to Presnetaion Server.

ELSEIF RD2 'X'.

Open DATASET

TRANSAFER DATASET --- Download to applicatio server

Use Function Module

Endif.

This will resolve your issue.

Hello U can fullfill the same ,By providing the Filepath s as default values withinthe selection screen so that wheneveruser swithces from Radio button 1 to Radiobutton 2 , the fieldwil be displayed with the filepath ....so that user can down load the contents in the required filepath .

Within Initialization event defaultthe values .

Hi,

See the belowcode .

Parameters : r1 radiobutton group g1,

r2 radiobutton group r2,

p_downp like rlgrap-filenme ,

p_downapp like rlgrap-filename.

Initialization.

p_downp = 'C:/Down.txt'.

p_downapp = GIVE the appserver path .

And now qithin at selection-screen output use the logic mentioned in the above .
