Authorization for specific client in SCC1

Dear Friends,

I required to give authorizaton for SCC1 to one of member in FI department.In SCC1, As user has option to choose the source client from the drop down menu, i want to restrict the user from choosing from client no.s. I am thinking about giving him the default value in the client field and restrict him from not to select the client of their choice.

Is this possible?

Hi Hemant,

Yes this is possible.We can restrict user for the creation, modify,change,read or others.We need to set the authority for the field.This is done by tcode SU20 and SU21.The table for activity is TSTCA.Generally Basis people do this authorization may be sometime ABAPers also do this.I mean who so ever has the authority to do it.

Hi Hemanth,

One option is going for Screen variants.

Go to Transaction SHD0 and create a Screen variant.With this you can create a view over the normal transaction and provide a different view of the same transaction.
