How to read application server multiple times?

Hi.

As a requirement we are reading a file from application server, once its done we are placing that file into other folder, now we need to check whether there are other files present there if yes then process or come out.

Hi,

You can use the FM EPS_GET_DIRECTORY_LISTING to get the list of all the file names from the directory in application server with certain naming convention (use file_mask parameter) into one internal table and process them accordingly.

Hi.,

What are the file names you searching for? I mean do you have file names(more than one) with you?

If so, you can create the ranges(say).

And loop that ranges internal table to fetch all files from the application server!

Here as of my knowledge there is no alternate other than using READ DATA SET statement repeattedly(like above).

Use FM PFL_CHECK_OS_FILE_EXISTENCE for your requirement.
