Transaction SU01

Hello colleagues,

I need to click on one of the tab ( Roles ) in transaction SU01 but the Find Option is disabled in my application .

Can you kindly let me how to search/find for the same ? .

I do not want to hardcode ( record position wise) as if a new tab is introduced the position may change of the current tab .

Kindly let me know as to how to apply the solution .

Hi Harsha,

As eCATT is position sensitive ,I fear it could not possible.

As the only scope the Find option is disabled,you have to choose by position.

Hi Harsha,

I could think of two solutions at the moment:

1. Use TCD command. I personally prefer TCD command whenever possible, as the eCATT is normally faster if compared with an eCATT using SAPGUI command doing exactly the same thing.

2. If you still would like to stick to SAPGUI command, input the OK code which presses the tab 'role' in the command field when recording your eCATT.

I personally think both solutions should solve your problem. And your eCATT must be flexible and robust enough.

Hi Qian,

I just recorded using SAP GUI .

'wnd[0]/usr/tabsTABSTRIP1/tabpACTG/ssubMAINAREA:SAPLSUU5:0106/tblSAPLSUU5TC_AGR/ctxtUSAGR-AGR_NAME[1

You can see i am not able to see the row number here in the above code .

is there anything i need to take care while recording ?.

I just want to parameterize the row id .

Can you kindly help me here .

I thought you wanted to click the tab named 'Roles' in transaction SU01. Am I right? My solutions are to solve the problem of choosing the tab.

Now are you asking me how to choose the rows in the ALV list on tab 'Roles'? It would be a different topic.

Can you kindly eloborate with SAPGUI solution .

You have told to input Ok , but i am not clear abt the solution can you kindly explain a little bit more .
