SAP Ver. 4.7 (selection screen problem)

Dear all,

Please help me out in solving the below problem.

I am working on 4.7 version...and below is the code of a simple report fpr testing. On the selection screen there is one select option which can be displayed or supressed dynamically. For this I am using 'Modif ID xxx'. But the problem here is...when ever 'Loop at SCREEN - ENDLOOP' uesd to set the screen atrributes, on selection screen, a small box appearing before LOW input box of the select option(As you know there are only two input boxes(LOW, HIGH) for any select-option).

For eg. try this below program in Version 4.7

REPORT Z_TEST1 .

tables:mara.

select-options:s_mat for mara-matnr modif id gr1.

initialization.

LOOP at screen.

if screen-group1 = 'gr1'.

screen-active = '0'.

screen-input = '0'.

screen-output = '0'.

screen-invisible = '1'.

ELSE.

screen-active = '1'.

screen-input = '1'.

screen-output = '1'.

screen-invisible = '0'.

ENDIF.

MODIFY SCREEN.

endloop.

start-of-selection.

write :/' Test program'.

In your program,

Use caps instead of lowercase like this...

<b>

if screen-group1 = 'GR1'.

</b>

Hi SR,

until unless you give 'GR1' as Caps it won't work.

you want to hide the select options are you want to remove the text for select options..

Thanks for the valuable help.

My reqiorement is to hide the complete select option . And I think that can be possibe by making

'GR1' as Caps

SCREEN.ACTIVE = 0

screen-invisible = '1'.

Please let me know is above enough to hide a select-option...or below are also required.

screen-input = '0'.

screen-output = '0'.
