Hi,

i have two transport request numbers.

how can i find the code changes between two request numbers without going program.

without going to program??not clear

anyways if you go to program go to utilities--~~version~~--version management...then click on two request and do compare

This can be done through Version Management.

In se38, type the program name..Then go to

Utility~~->Versions~~->Version Management

There you can see the two trs. click on both and then click on compare.

You can see the code difference,

Go to Utilities->Version----there you can compare the code between two request.......via Remote Comaprision...

Hi Suresh

Go to Utilities->Versions->Version Management-> Here check the two versions having the TRs you want to be compared.

Then press COMPARE.

Hi,

Tranpsort request wil have only the program names .

U have to check the version management of the program

SE38->specify the porgram name->verison->version management.once u do it, there will be one icon for compare in the application tool bar..now select ur both records and do the comparison.

Hi,

you can write a program which reads both the reoprts in two different internal table and then you can run loop to compare these two internal tables leaving out the comments in the reports...

Hi,

You can find it through

SE38 -- > Utilities --> Versions --> version management.

This will help to compare the same program for two requests and will show you out where the code is different.

without going to programme any alternative to find the code changes.

because my request is not appear in program.

Hi,

Write a new program

Read the reports into internal table of the program and then run a loop to compare them

Hi,

I think u might have created a task instead of request. because if the active reuqest is not realeased then it won't ask u any neew request to be created rather it will say tthat a task will be created with in the request already exists.please check it.
