Editable ALV

Hi All,

I have an editable ALV created with OO concept, when i press the help button on a field it triggers the checks for the fields and throws the errors in a dialog box for all the fields thats empty or with error values and also along with that the help screen comes up.

I want to avoid the error messages when the user has just clicked help or F4 on a field and not save.I only want the help screen.

How to avoid the error checks.

Hi,

Which class are you using?

You have to register the event of input hadling.

HI,

I am using cl_gui_alv_grid and the registeration is also done for input handling.It works without flaw but the checks are also activated when i click on F4 i need to avoid that.

Hi,

you can use mkethod F4 of class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.

Here you have to pass only that field at which you require to F4 help.
