Hi all,

At the time of VA02 or VA03, I want to lock the Condition tab Of all items & Header also. How can i block the user?

Hi,

have you tried to use transaction variants (transaction SHD0)? You can define transaction variant for a group users where you disable for input the elements for condition tab. You can disable whole tab as well. Have a look at [SAP documentation|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/67/232037ebf1cc09e10000009b38f889/frameset.htm].

Thank you for reply. This was solved my Problem to half way, but I am not able to assigned to it for a specific users. It was reflect to all user. Please say how to assigned it?

Hi,

you can create a variant group and assign users to that variant group. It's described in that documentation from my previous post. It should solve your problem. Check section Variant Groups under Tools for Personalizing the Application.

Another way is to define own transaction ZVA02 which will correspond to VA02 with transaction variant. Then you will remove transaction from VA02 from authorization profile and assign only new version ZVA02.

I would try variant groups first.

Hi Martin,

I am not able to restrict User wise variant. How to applied variant in standard t-code for differnt User?

I did following steps:

1) Create User group.

2) Assigned User to it.

3) after that, I took that variant and create standard variant.

But when i activate that variant it is applicable to all User not to that Group of user.

Is there any other way to do same thing?

Hi.

I found two exits at ECC 600:

- FM EXIT_SAPMV45A_004 at project V45A0003

- Form USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION at include MV45AFZZ

The first one is called from a new enhancement (Source Code Plug-In), so if you are in a lowest version of ECC, maybe you haven't this option
