SAP CONSOLE handheld function keys

Hi Folks

We are developing SAP console transaction. In our transaction we've defined function key F1-F10

It works when we use SAP in laptop but when we access SAP through Handheld device by using telnet, function key doesn't work.

Does anybody have any pointers towards solving this problem.

Hi Mandeep,

When you've tried in your laptop have you used the SAPGui or telnet?

(you can test run C:\Program Files\SAP\Console\sapcnsl.exe in sapconsole server)

Check the SAP Console administrator in control panel (of the sapconsole server) if there is a mapping in F keys (tab Console).

Check your telnet server if you need a mapping for F keys.

If all of it is ok, then the problem is in the handheld configuration.

Hi Friends

I got the answer. There is a mapping in SAP CONSOLE server .

Like ctrl-shift-F1 would be F1 in handheld device. This kind of mapping is in 3rd tab or 4th tab of console server.
