Hi,

We added append structure in LIKP table and in quality system we dont have any issues. But when our transport is moved to production we are getting the below dump when opening shipment .And we are not very sure that whether our changes caused the dump.

I am getting dump LOAD_TYPE_VERSION_MISMATCH when opening Shipment doucment.

and error analysis is

The ABAP runtime system detected that the Dictionary-type "LIKPVB" changed

during the flow of the transaction.

As the type was already used in the old version

and in the new type should be used in the same transaction in the new

version, the transaction had to be cancelled to avoid inconsistencies.

Can anyone pls let us know the reason for the above dump?

Thanks in advance,

Poornima

Edited by: poornima v on Jan 20, 2009 7:07 PM

Yes, but make sure that you keep the Save data radiobutton on and then click on the activate and adjust database.

This is a normal routine that you should run everytime you make changes to any table. This will ensure that the strucute of the runtime object and the structure of the of the object in the database are consistent.

Make sure to run the activity in background to avoid timeouts.

Before you run SE14, make sure the transport was sent successfully to production.

The dump could also be temporary while the objects were being activated on transport, and at the same time the program was accessing the table. So you might want to check again to see if the program is still dumping.

You said :

We added append structure in LIKP table and in quality system we dont have any issues

Did you run the SE14 in QA as well ?

regards,

Advait

Edited by: Advait Gode on Jan 20, 2009 3:31 PM
