Using FTP_COMMAND

Hi,

I want to FTP file from SAP server to a remote host. I have laid down the steps after searching forum:

1. Create a RFC from SAP to the remote host

2. I plan to use the delivered program RSFTP002. In this program selection screen:

User -> user name for remote host

Password -> password for the above user

Host -> host name for the remote host

Command 1-> put u201Cfile name and path on BW serveru201D u201Cfilename and path on remote hostu201D

RFC destination -> one I created in step 1 above

Compress -> N

Iu2019d like to know if this is the correct sequence or anyother step is required.

Seems fine.

Ensure that the user has authority to create a file on the other Server.
