issue in the printer output

hello experts

we are having an output type ya01.and this is attached to vf31. when ever the user gives multiple documents in vf31 and executes then the spools will be generated for every billing document .

our requirement is spools should be generated but it should not be printed in the printer ie it should not go to the printer. If at all the user want the prints then he can go to sp02 and from there he need to issue.

please tell me how to acheive this.

And one more issue is , the spools from sp02 are automatically disappearing sometimes. Please help

Hi,

Go to transaction SU01, in this click on the Tab Defaults.

Here you need to uncheck both the checkboxes under Spool Control.

Output Immediately and Delete after output.

Your issue will be resolved using this.

You can do it other way.

because if you will do setting in SU01 user has to take all his printouts from sp01.

you can do it in Smartform settings.

just make setting in smartforms printer setting and your output won't be send to Printer immdiealtly.

spoolno will be there in sp02 only till the date we specify(we have option to specify date ---fieldname is DELETE ON)....

in the driver program set the indicators

for print preview alone(no print o/p it will be in spool and as per ur requ u can take print out as per u need) and to specify the DELETE ON date ...

if ur form is smartforms then in below structure

SSFCTRLOP pass the value and pass it to smartforms f.m

TDDELETE------->Delete After Printing (Print Parameters)

DATA: c_par TYPE ssfctrlop,

out_opt TYPE ssfcompop.

c_par-preview = 'X'.

out_opt-tddest = job_out-tddest.

out_opt-tdprinter = job_out-tdprinter.

TDDELETE------->Delete After Printing (Print Parameters)

out_opt-tddelete = 'X'.

CALL FUNCTION fm_name

EXPORTING

control_parameters = c_par------->pass here

output_options = out_opt

user_settings = space

vbeln = it_vbeln-vbeln

pdf = r2

You can go in SPRO and for ur output ype change the Storage setting "ARCHIVE ONLY'.

By Default this setting is Print Only.
