Display table in transaction

Hi all,

i want to display table in new transaction code.

In selection screen, there are certain fields that should be as mandatory.

i tried it creating new t-code using option of " with transaction variant of SE16N".

But in that i am not able to make fields as mandatory.

Please suggest way for doing this.

Hi Chintan

First option you can create a Module pool with few screen fileds mandatory .

Another option can be create Z report and make few fields mandatory in the selection-screen.

Hi there....

if making a selection screen element mandatory... that can be done using a variant.. when you save a variant there are options/checkboxes to make it mandatory for selection.

You can

1. Create a Z report with your required fields as the Selection Screen

2. Call the FM SE16N_INTERFACE to call SE16N.

I have tried creating variant in SE16N, but it is not showing screen to make fields mandatory like we normally do with selection screens.

Hi,

You can create TCODE using se93 with option Transaction with parameters.

In that,Give Transaction SM30 and check skip initial screen.

check all checkboxes in GUI Support Tab.

Default values will be:

Name of screen field Value

VIEWNAME should be Tablename

SHOW X

Hi,

Use tcode se93 and select the last r.b. and give the table parameters at the end of page as

VIEWNAME = Tablename

SHOW = X

update = x.

and save, check and test it
