Hello

we use CUA to manage or 8 production systems landscape.

from time to time we need to report on users, authorizations and other complex reporting request.

1. do you know of standard reporting available in BI (BW) on extracted CUA information?

2. did any of you need to develop is own set of reports or tool to enhance CUA capabilities?

There are quite a few SAP notes on CUA & change documents.

In note [898213|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/898213] you can find some relevant tables.

The type of reporting I need is complex analyze for user to authrization to HR position to company code to cost center.... BW type of reporting from complex datasource.

one data source is the CUA user master data that I need to extract to BW.

any idea?

Your main problem will be that the CUA master system does not hold actual information about role contents but only the names. Roles with identical names can have different authorizations on each child system. Actually, SAP_ALL will probabely be different throughout your landscape.....

I'd say you have to query your CUA children as if they were standalone systems.
