Add Selection Screen on splitter container

Hi All,

Can anyone help me how to add selection screen like select-options: matnr for mara-matnr etc..in custom container.

I have one custom container and i splitted into left panel and right panel. My left panel will be selection screen, Once user enters the selection in left panel right panel should be populated with data,

its the same way how you do it for Module pool programs

Input output elements : select-option on double clicking you can set the attributes of the element (tabe: mara, field: matnr)

For creating select-options on custom screen, you may refer this link -

About display, put a button on the Left Pannel on click of which Call the Right Panel and display the data.

Its advisable to search the forum for more generic sort of queries. as for this you will get lots of suggestions and alternates in the forum.

It is advisable to carefully read the original question as well because the answer is:

No. You cannot.

Containers can hold only controls (e.g. ALV grid, tree, etc.) and other containers but not normal dynpro (screen) elements.

Hi All,

Any other suggessions to acheive my requirement. For example create sub screen add my selection parameters into sub screen.

I have never used oops tech in ABAP, but know theoritically and how to use.

Finally is there any method which we can add subscreen to container.

Given below is my actual code and i need to add selection screen into w_child21.

Hi All,

Thanks for all your suggessions. I found workaround solution and my problem is resolved.

I placed one of the button in pf-status and called selection-screen.
