ALV Grid: Changed layout after REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY

Hello,

I'm using ALV Grid Control to show tabular data. This ALV Grid has layout with hided toolbar (I passed I_LAYOUT import to method set_table_for_first_display).

If I call REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY method to this ALV Grid, toolbar suddenly appears.

I tried this:


data: wa_layout TYPE LVC_S_LAYO.

        wa_layout-NO_TOOLBAR = 1.
        call method hpl_grid->set_frontend_layout
          exporting IS_LAYOUT  = wa_layout.
        call method hpl_grid->refresh_table_display.

.. but problem remains the same. I even tried to switch set_frontend_layout and refresh_table_display methods.

Can anybody help me?

If you set

wa_layout-NO_TOOLBAR = 1.

it won't work

but try

wa_layout-NO_TOOLBAR = 'X'.

- it works

Josef,

Try this,

Get the existing layout using GET_FRONTEND_LAYOUT, take that layout - modify that and then pass it to SET_FRONTEND_LAYOUT.
