sap smartform - printer problem

Hi friends,

I have a small problem while printing the PO layout. I designed the whole form to get printed in VERDANA, FONT 9.

The problem is that if i try to print it out with one printer, and see in the print preview all the descriptions are printed perfectly. However if i try to print it out using a different printer the content is getting truncated and the font also is not in VERDANA for which the smartform is designed for.

I am not able to understand, what steps need to be taken for printing out through out the printers used uniformly in VERDANA with a fixed font size.

Can anyone help me out in this regard.

Hi,

I understand from your describings that the smartform layout is perfectly line.Just check with the printer settings.

Now,we need to identify the location of the problem where it lies.Try to print a wordpad with verdana font and see what happens with the problematic printer.

You can also try to add a code int he driver program to control the printer settings.

Hope this info helps to locate the problem where it lies.

Hi Bill,

Please check the printer fonts . If your font not found at printer then it will print in its default font (considering ASCII) and the content is getting truncated .
