I juz want to know how to create 3D Pie graphs or charts.

is there ant function module or reports avaialble

Ya i tried gral tcode but it doesnt have 3D pie graph or chart only 2D is available

However, forget all the answers above. When starting a new project you have to use the chart engine.

It's integrated as cl_gui_chart_engine. Have a look at the demo report GRAPHICS_GUI_CE_DEMO.

Yes, I know that you see a columns chart, but believe me, after copying the report, removing the ABAP line with RestricChartTypes you are able to change the chart type to Pie and set the Dimension to 3D (within the GlobalSettings).

Hi Balaji,

I'm pretty sure that there is such a service whith an image as the input parameter.

In this case you should use the IGS (cl_igs_chart_engine) instead of the GUI control (cl_gui_chart_engine).

As part of the customizing XML you can tell the IGS the desired image format (PNG, JPG etc), see the XML snippet:


<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> 
<SAPChartCustomizing version="2.0">
 <GlobalSettings>
  <FileType>PNG</FileType> 
 </GlobalSettings>
 ...
</SAPChartCustomizing>

See the demo report GRAPHICS_IGS_CE_TEST, and download the SAP Chart Designer from SDN - Download - Tools for WebAS (this package also contains the description of the data XML).

Hi Kai,

My requirement is i have a report in which the output is a graph .

But i have to store the graph in PDF format for further use.

I dont want the graph to be displayed instead it has to be stored as PDF or Jpeg , etcc.
