Displaying trailing Zero in the excel

Hi All,

When i download the data to the excel,one of the column consists of vehicle numbers.Whenever the number starts with 0 for eg 0756245130,its getting downloaded as 756245130.The 0 is not getting downloaded.

First edit your query. I think you want leading zeroes in excel not trailing

In the excel sheet make all the cells as 'TEXT' then it will work for you.

Hi,

That is the thing to be done in excel formating.

For this you have to use 'OLE' and format the range of cells for which you want leading zeros.

concatenate will be the appropiate ststement which you can use to get the zeros in the front.

Hi,

This question is being asked so many times.

In XL you can not get leading zeros in display, thats the property of XL.

You can check by opening another XL & type some number with leading zeros.

Nothing can be done, thats the property of XL.
