Hi Sagar,

We use SCAT for creating a CATT module ( this was the automation tool used prior to eCATT ), eCATT is in usage from a long time and with 602 onwards we are not allowed to create CATT modules.

Use transaction SECATT to create an eCATT for your intended test purposes and can use REFCATT to call a CATT module already existing in the system and alternatively use REMOTECATT for those outside the system ( Q system ).

Hope this answers your Q.

Thanks and best regards,

Sachin

Hi All,

Are you thinking that the solutions provided is correct, as per the question.

If your answer is yes, then i stronly dis agree with the words. the reason is -

Actually when we go through the transaction SCAT and create, and select the tool as catt

this error will raise, so as to remove this error , the solution cant be that use ecatt,

there is a solution for this --- first select as manual test case save it and then go for change mode

and change the type from manual test case to catt. and save , then come out of the transaction then go

to the trasaction code SCEM and then go for edit mode it will ask you for the tcd record.

there you can record the process .

Regards

R
