How to know structure getting data from particular table

Hi experts,

I am running standard tcode MD04, in this tcode one screen field is there MDSTA-SUM02.

I am getting data from MDSTA structure, How we can know which table data is coming for this structure.

I doubt that all the valuse in the transaction directly come from any table .

Most of the information come from MDRS table.

but some of the calculation is also doen by the function module MD_PEGGING_NODIALOG.

Mate

U can use tcode SE15 ~~->ABAP Dictionary~~>Fields--->select the table fields -here enter the FIELD NAME to found and press F8

It will list all the tables which contains that fields

Note : In most cases the name fields both in structure and table will unique ..

Hi Mahahe,

Why dont you do a global search for the field MDSTA-SUM02 in the print program. You might find it out.

If not just go-a-head and Debug the standard code. As it is filling of the structure you may be able to find it easily.

Check in the where-used list table field

you will be able to know from which transperent table is linked with the particular fields
