Change Documents for Custom Message type.

Hi Folks,

I have an custom message type for Customer Hierarchy..Whenever I change or create the customer hierarchy relationship..Changes needs to be logged into CDHDR CDPOS and BDCPS tables.

It is doing fine in 4.6 system.(Unfortunately I do not know how the config made in that system).

It is logging the changes for MATMAS, DEBMAS and CREMAS also..in ECC 6.0

I did the config as shown below..

1. Activated change pointers using BD61.

2. Activated the change pointers for custom message type using BD50

3. Added and entry for message type with function module using BD60

4. Added an entry with Object class 'KUNHIER' linked to KNVH table using SCDO.

Could you please help me...how to configure the custom message type to log the changes into above tables..

It seems that you're confusing change pointers and change documents. These are two different things, actually.

It looks like transaction BD52 is missing from your list for the change pointers. For the change documents there is also a checkbox that needs to be active in Dictionary:
