Currency issue in BAPI BAPI_COSTACTPLN_POSTPRIMCOST ??

Hi Experts,

We are uploading the budget values of Cost center into SAP, some times uploading the Internal orders into SAP, by using the BAPI BAPI_COSTACTPLN_POSTPRIMCOST.

Its transaction is KP06.

But, the user enters the CURRENCY explicitly from the selection screen, so, it should upload only this currrency (say, user specified USD) into SAP, but,its not working!! I mean, after uploading file, when I checked the results in KSBP, its showing EUR!!

Am passing the user specified currency (USD), into bapi structure of bapipcpval-trans_curr.

So, let me know that, Wht is the mistake, How to fix it?

Is there any other BAPI to upload cost center planning and to take care of user specified CURRENCY?

Hi ,

To header info pass correct value of PLAN_CURRTYPE depending on your requirement.

C Controlling area currency

O Object currency

T Transaction currency

Do i need to pass any thing to the below structure-field, (to meet my requirement) or not required??

BAPIPCPVAL-TRANS_CURRENCY_ISO --> ISO code in transaction currency

BAPIPCPVAL-UNIT_ISO --> Base unit of measure in ISO code

BAPIPCPVAL-UNIT_OF_MEASURE --> Unit of Measure for Display

Hi ,

If you are passing some Quantity fields then pass the values to unit of measure as well.I suppose ,the bapi takes into account the quantity fields only if you have defined a unit of measure.

so do i need pass any value to below parameter?

BAPIPCPVAL-TRANS_CURRENCY_ISO --> ISO code in transaction currency

and unfortunately even i passed the C and O values to header, its not working, when i checked in KSBP transaction!!!

i mean, when i open KSBP, still i can see the 3rd(total fixed value CAC-COCR) 4th columns r showing incorrect currency!!

So, Should I pass fille 2 fields or onyl headre or only table structure or both?

1) header-as u suggested:

2) am also passing the vlaue to this bapi table structure,

bapi structure of bapipcpval-trans_curr.

so, wht shuld i use in my prog. either 1 or 2 or both 1&2?
