How to down load the Module pool program from sap

hi friends,

i am having the Module pool program in one server

it consists of 1 screen.

now i want to down load the Module pool program into another server.

those two server are not linked.

is there any way to copy from one server to another server.

like what we do in smartfroms,that is downloading form and uploading the form.

Hello,

I have not seen any way to do what you´ve asked for....the only way to do it is manually...you can download the source code by looking on this formum for ZDOWNLOAD, by there is no option to upload.

The only tip I can give you is to gather all objects on a single transport order, and ask your basis team to give you the cofile, and then copy it into the new server....maybe would work.

thanks for reply..

i dont want to copy the source code of my module program.

i want to copy the screens, which i have created in SE51 transaction,

so that i no need to create in the other server.

Hi Sripathi,

you can do this by Transports.

Goto Tcode SE80.

Select your module pool program.

Select the Program name name and screens u have designed.

Right Click.Generate a Transport Request.

Relaease this TR.

Import this TR in the other system using STMS.

Hello,

the only way, as I told you is by making a copy of the cofile (is is the file done by the transport request on the server), but the only way to do it is by your basis team, the may know how to do it.

Hi sripathi,

Even though they are not linked you can do that.

Once you generate the Transports ,copy the data and cofile of that TR and paste the same in the other system of cofile and datafile respectively.

After that go to STMS.Goto Overview-->imports.

Double click on the description of your system.

Goto Extras~~>Other Requests~~->Add.

There are some steps to be followed after this.....

Hope u know how to Import the Transports.

Hi,

You can down load code from source system and u can upload those in your destination system. You can down load Code as normally like execute SE38 ~~> enter ur program name~~> click on change button~~> Utilities(in menu bar)~~->more utilities~~>upload/down load~~>down load in source system & Just use same path with upload instead of down load. So this will help u to transfer code from one system to other.

Screens transfer: SE51~~> enter ur program name & screen no~~> click on change button~~> click on Layout button~~> Utilities(m)~~>upload/download~~>download for down loading a screen from source system.

And follow the same procedure in destination system also just use up load instead of download. to upload a screen in destination system.
