ALV display

hi guru's,

i have been working on alv report,my problem is after executing the report ' i'm just getting the column headings, but no data coming from database'. i debugged the program in final internal table the data everything is coming, but after executin , no data visible.

please help me.

I think there is a problem in ur field catalog, check once again...

Problem in filling fieldcatlog for ur ALV output.

Hi,

Check the fieldcatlog options and the fieldcatlog fields and table fields are matching to each other and the layout options like no zeros, no out options are activated or not.

hi,

Check you are passing the same internal table to ALV in which data exists.

I hope you have mentioned wrong final internal table in the in the function module REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY or in the field catalog. Once again you check the code.

Hi,

Please check whether you have declared all the parameter of SLIS and also check the perform ststement where you have initialized the data of the internal table to be pushed into the reuse_alv_grid_display and also check the field catelog where the data would be transferred. I hope its a very minor thing which you might have left, please recheck you will be able to find out.

Check ur fieldcatlog WITH FIELD NAME

your field name must in upper case

Hey Surender,

CAn you copy and paste your program so that we can have a look and find the error.

If you are egtting the data in Internal table then there is something wrong with the fieldcatlog.

Data it is not getting passsed into your Fieldcatlog.

Do not froget to USe Append statement and clear statement after filling every fieldcatlog.

For ex :

lw_fieldcat-row_pos = 1.

lw_fieldcat-col_pos = 1.

lw_fieldcat-tabname = 'T_FINAL'.

lw_fieldcat-fieldname = 'ATTR20A'.

lw_fieldcat-seltext_m = 'SUBSTANCE ID'.

lw_fieldcat-outputlen = '21'.

lw_fieldcat-fix_column = 'X'.

lw_fieldcat-key = 'X'.

APPEND lw_fieldcat TO lt_fieldcat.

Clear lw_fieldcat.

lw_fieldcat-col_pos = 2.

lw_fieldcat-tabname = 'T_FINAL'.

lw_fieldcat-fieldname = 'PRVSY'.

lw_fieldcat-seltext_m = 'R3 MAT NBR'.

lw_fieldcat-outputlen = '14'.

lw_fieldcat-FIX_COLUMN = 'X'.

APPEND lw_fieldcat TO lt_fieldcat.

Clear lw_fieldcat.

lw_fieldcat-col_pos = 3.

lw_fieldcat-fieldname = 'QUAL_STA'.

lw_fieldcat-seltext_m = 'PRODUCT STATUS'.

lw_fieldcat-outputlen = 'x'.

APPEND lw_fieldcat TO lt_fieldcat.

Clear lw_fieldcat.

lw_fieldcat-col_pos = 6.

lw_fieldcat-tabname = 'T_FINAL'.

lw_fieldcat-fieldname = 'CRTSP'.

lw_fieldcat-seltext_m = 'PRODUCT CREATED ON'.

lw_fieldcat-outputlen = '21'.

APPEND lw_fieldcat TO lt_fieldcat.

Clear lw_fieldcat.

second point is chk if you are providing correct name in the function module.

reuse_alv_list_display/ reuse_alv_grid_display.

it_fieldcatlog = lt_fieldcat

Tables

= Your final INternal table.

This will surely fix your issue.
