View error with DEC fields

Hi all,

There is a Dictionary Table with a DEC field :

DAYS_TOTAKE DEC 4 1 Pending days

Data type DEC

No. characters 4

Decimal places 1

Output length 5

Convers. routine

This field is populated with + and - values.

I have created a VIEW but when I access it by SM30 (display or mantain), a DUMP occurs :

Screen name.............. "SAPLZTHR_ACUM_VAC"

Screen number............ 0001

Screen field............. "ZTHR_ACUM_VAC-DAYS_TOTAKE"

Error text............... "FX015: Sign lost."

DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION

I modified the screen (output lenght and visible length), but it was no use.

Can anyone help me?

The problem was that the domain was defined without SIGN option. So, the dump was produced because of the negative values.

It resolved the problem.
