Hi,

if you don't want to record then go for some alternatives

like BAPI or LSMW.

Hi Yamini,

Why do you want to do a BDC without a recording?

If you don't want to use the SAP generated program out out the SHDB recording, then you can stop the recording after saving the transaction for which you have done the recording and you need not generate the code for the recording.

Once you have the recording, I think its pretty simple to

populate the BDC tables and pass to the CALL Transaction statement.

Hi Yamini,

Without recording a trxn (SHDB), one way is...

<b>Press F1 and F9 to know the program name,screen number,field name etc.... and also need to check the Ok-codes assigned to the buttons/function keys for you to proceed from one screen to another in your transaction...</b>

Hi yamini,

1. For bdc , recording is not at all compulsory !

2. for your purpose,

u must know how the BDC table

is filled with values.

ie. progname, dynbegin, dynrpo, fnam,fval.

3. Then u should manually DO the transaction

4. At the same time,

u should not down (using F1 help, )

the prograname, screen number, field name, field value !

5. Accordingly u can fill the bdc table fields

and use CALL TRANSACTION

(first do it in A mode, so that

u come to know whats going on )

6. Some error & trial will ofcourse be there !
