Regarding call transaction

Hi guys,

I am doing call transaction for customer master upload.

when i run that program using 'A' (All screen Mode) is working fine.its creating customer number.

But i run the 'N' (No Screen mode) its wont create any customer number.

Please let me know guys.

Check the return code after call transaction statement and if it is NE Zero then open a error session to capture all the error records. In this you can analyse the error records and correct the errors. Also capture the system message into a table of type BDCMSGCOLL while calling the call transaction statement.

Eg.

CALL TRANSACTION tcode USING bdctab MODE N MESSAGES INTO messtab.

Hi,

When you use call trannsaction for mode 'A' due to manual intervention (pressing enter) some of the screen field values which are not acceptable also accepted with the warning message. But in No screen mode since there is no manual intervention it will stop in that point itself....Best way is in All screen mode keep looking at the status bar for all warning messages and fix it accordingly in data or configuration.

i hope u r doing some change in ALL screens mode. Dont do any changes while running in forground. Let it be run as usual. So that u can identify the error.

Hai....

The program is working fine with mode 'A' right.

Check While recording at last screen i.e pop-up-window " do you want to save?

probably you might be saved with NO option.

Check it once. if it is then change it to YES in the prg.

That may be the only problem.

Check with the Recording process.. Sure their is a prob with recording .. do once again recording ..

hi,

Please check recording once.

When u r doing in A mode, there may be message,

No batch input screen for so and so filed in the screen <num>

In all screen mode it shows as WARNING message, an enter continues

where as in N mode, it stops the trasaction. Please check the same.

After call trasaction

if sy-subrc <> 0

display error message from BDCMSGCLL using FM, *FORMATMESSAGE*_

Hi,

I got same problem and resolved my self.

The problem is with recording. while recording you will get some worning message right, there you will press enter enter 2 or more times but its comes to program in A mode you can see all these wornings you will press enters but in N mode you can't see these things you avoid getting worning while recording take proper data and do successfull record, you can achive.
