Changes done USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE, system throughing error msg

Hi Experts,

I done the changes in the USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE to display error message when user press PGI button without filling foreign trade data.

Error message is getting populated correctly, but after the error message a pop up Error message getting populated "Risk of posting several mat.documents for one delivery->long text" and exit from the transaction VL02N.

Please advice me how to avoid the message.

Try to make your error message as warning message and see..

Hi Nagaraj,

According to my requirement after error message user not allowed to do any operation in VL02. If we use warning message, by pressing enter user can Post the document.

Please suggect me any other option to avoid system error.

If u throw warning message is the system allowing to post..have u checked that..

i changed the error message to warning message and tested then, i am getting " Outbound Delivery 50001429 has been saved" and PGI button getting into disable mode.

Hi,

That means the control is not there on warning message, the only way is throwing error message

Please try with userexit and ur error message in userexit_save_document and see if u r getting other popup.

...Either no need to implement USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE for this purpose.

Just small SPRO configuration will do your work.You may set incomplition logs for delivery execution from SPRO.

Follow path:Logistics Execution>Shipping>Basic Shipping Functions>Incomplition control for deliveries.

And please don't create duplicate threads on same topic.do wait some time for replies,If you are not getting proper replies than you can update the same thread rather than creating new one.
