increase screen-width

Hi,

i'm trying to increase my screen size by goin to screen attributes and giving the values for

lines/columns occupied 23 118

mainten. 27 120

i increased it to 30 150

lines/columns occupied 23 118

mainten. 30 150..

but still the screen size is not increasing..

i'm having a custom control on my first screen with alv..

how to do this?

I hope screen width occupied will determine your screen size, do place some controls in the screen upto position 30 150.
