Background Hiring

Hi everybody,

I have a requirement to handle the hiring process as a background job.

Could you guys suggest some options for this, like -

BDC thru PA30 or any BAPIs or something else.

Also, it would be great if anyone could provide some sample code for the same.

Any inputs and suggestions are highly appreciated.

hi,

If you are hiring a new employee you must use PA40 transaction.

for this you can use either LSMW or BDC according to your requirement.

Hi Mark,

I have done it through the BDC of the Hiring Action i.e. transaction PA40.

It does not has any problem. I would suggest the same to you.

Whats the difference between using PA30 and PA40 for BDC.
