Transfer screen values to another screen

Hi All,

I have a field in notifications transaction IQS1 which holds an employee number (partner function PE) the screen field is called RQM02-PARNR_VERA also I have created a new function module which sits in the action box area of the screen. The function module is very simple (it just calls the maintain HR masterdata transaction) see below:

CALL TRANSACTION 'PA30'

ENDFUNCTION.

However, I would like the function module to read the value in RQM02-PARNR_VERA and transfer it to transaction PA30 in the PERNR field.

Can anyone advise how the function module should look to do this, I am no ABAP'er so please give as much details as possible.

Hi,

Before the call transaction set the pernr value using the syntax ..set parameter id.

Ex..

SET PARAMETER ID 'PER' FIELD RQM02-PARNR_VERA.

CALL TRANSACTION 'PA30'.

Hi,

Didn't seem to work, it first gave me an error regarding a missing data statement, I think I solved that but it still does not pass the value through, my function module now looks like this:

DATA: PARNR_VERA LIKE RQM02-PARNR_VERA.

SET PARAMETER ID 'PERNR' FIELD PARNR_VERA.

CALL TRANSACTION 'PA30'.

ENDFUNCTION.

Any Ideas?

press f1 on the screen field and click on technical information icon there will be a parameter ID for that field.you can use that ID to retrive the value.

DATA : f1 TYPE KNB1-PERNR.
GET PARAMETER ID <paramater ID> field f1.

Hi,

make sure there is a value in the variable PARNR_VERA...also the id is PER and not pernr.

DATA: PARNR_VERA LIKE RQM02-PARNR_VERA.

SET PARAMETER ID 'PER' FIELD PARNR_VERA.

CALL TRANSACTION 'PA30'.

try this code

DATA : FNAM(15) TYPE C,

FVAL(8) TYPE C.

GET CURSOR FIELD FNAM VALUE FVAL.

SET PARAMETER ID 'PER' FIELD FVAL.

CALL TRANSACTION 'PA30'.
