Hai Friends,

I have created a Z table. I have moved that to production server also. Now i want to include one more field in that table. Is it possible?. will this field will be added with the other fields.

Hi,

Discuss with your basis guys and if you have enough permissions to add the field go ahead there might not be any issue but doing modifications in the production server in not recommendable.

There is no problem adding a field to a table, unless you adding a key field. Non-key fields are just added to the end of the table, at the db level, even if they're inserted into the middle in DDIC. Make the change in dev and transport through to production.

hi vennila,

we don't do like that because we have not authorise to develope any objects as well as tables in production server. so that we have to create in development server only. regards,
