conversion data element in custom scructure

Hi experts,

I added a structure in EKPO and EBAN table. I want change one data element in the custom structure: from char2 to char12... I tried and the system showed me some warning: attention for change, may be you need the conversion, there's some impact etc etc...

I think is a not important warning because I change only custom structure, it's right ? Before activate my modify I like to have some

explication..

i hope you are talking about the append structure, after changing, adjust the table EKKO/EBAN table.

try to adjust using SE14. what is the message you are getting..?

Hi,

This cannot be a case of Append structure because An append structure is a structure that is assigned to exactly one table or structure, but you are saying that you added the same structure to two different tables EKPO & EBAN.

Can you please what is this Strucutre?

Is a structure composed by 8 field added in table by an include or an append ( I don't have the system now )...

so the eban structure have 8 more field...

(I done it also for ekpo structure...)

And now I want change 1 field type ( from type char2 to type char12 )...

In the warning pop up there's a list of impact ( 86 elements impacted)... I think is

the element impacted by the eban structure and not by my custom structure.. It's right ?
