Help w SearchHelp

Hello,

My ABAP program has several select option fields all of which are named in my SearchHelp (defined in SE11) with a DB View as its SelectionMethod. So I run the ABAP, select the Search Help on a field, the search help screen appears, I select one of the many records displayed, and when I return to the ABAP some of the matching fields are updated with the values from the search help screen.

Why don't I get all of the searchhelp field values returned to my ABAP?

It seems all of the values I am not receiving are fields from the MSEG part of the DB View. I know some of the fields on MSEG have search helps, but I don't want to inherit them, I just want the value displayed on the Search Help screen feed back into my ABAP fields.

that works like a move corresponding thing.. all though you see that the fields are from MSEG and all in SAP screens they are populated in structures and once saved then into corresponding transparent/cluster tables.

Any small diff in decimals.. or field length will not initiate to move the fields from Search help to the screen fields..
