You can ask the BASIS team to restore the system from the recent ONLINE backup they would have taken for the system. What online backup does is it restores the system to a particular date so you will get the system as it was on that particular date but all changes after that particular days is anyways lost.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Jayant

To be able to (maybe) help, I need to know how you deleted the requests? I assume they had not been released yet. Normally you cannot delete workbench requests as long as there is objects inside.

Thomas

I had deleted the entries from table E070. I wanted to delete the data for a particular client, but since it is not a cross client table (MANDT) is missing , all the data's for that server gone. About 20% of them have not been transported before. I want those datas back . The rest I can import from quality or production.

Regards,

D.Mallick

If I found myself in this situation (impossible since I wouldn't have dreamt of doing a direct table update on one of the SAP standard transport tables), I'd forget about the old transports, identify all the changed DEV objects that hadn't yet made it into TEST and create new transports for them.

Requests that were imported into subsequent systems will be in table E070 of those systems. Maybe you can restore some entries this way.

Requests that were released but not imported anywhere and those that were not released yet are more difficult. Have a look at the contents of table VRSD which stores the object versions along with transport numbers.

In short, I see no easy way of doing this, you need a very good expert with access to your systems to sort this out (if possible at all).

Thomas

P.S. are E071 / E071K entries still there? These could be used to find missing E070 entries and recreate them using some dummy entries for e.g. user, date, time...and E070 without any objects were useless anyway.

Hi friends,

I have found a way out. Though it won't serve my purpose, but it stills provides some kind of solution. The requests which are released can be imported from quality or production. The rest, of requests are those which have not been released. Fortunately, in my case the subtasks were not deleted. If I go to a program which has not been released, it will open in display mode and won't allow me to create a request. I found out that in table TLOCK, once I put the program name, it shows the flag is locked. I changed the flag setting from 'X' to ' ', and saved the data in table TLOCK. Then I went back to my program , it opened in changed mode. I had to create a separate main task (request) for this. The biggest plus point was I managed to get the subtask containing more than 12 abap objects. I only had to create one main request. If some other better solutions are there, just let me know. Thank you all for your prompt responses. If I manage to retrieve the entire content of E070, I will give rewards accordingly.

Thanks,

D.
