Deleting Fixed Assets

Hi,

I'm reciving an error during transaction AS06:

"Deleting is not possible. The asset already has values."

the solution in sap is:

"Delete the transferred values using the transaction for changing old assets."

I'm trying to delete those values using AS92, but everything looks locked. Where exactly and exactly how shall I remove this??

pls go to AS08 and reverse the document. It is not possible to delete the asset since some transactions are posted into the asset.bestway u can do is execute AS05 and block the asset from further postings

Hi,

you can use this FM to delete the fixed asset.

<b>ASSET_MASTERRECORD_MAINTENANCE</b>

while calling the FM you need to send the parameter

<b>i_trtyp = 'L'. "deletion flag </b>

along with other parameters.

check that..
