Need Read Receipt for Email (which is sent through Smartform functionality)

Hi,

The requirement is that, the sender should get a read Notification (read Receipt) for a email which contains the Smartform output as an attachment.

In the Standard FM - SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1, which is used to send emails we have a option to do this.

But we are using the inbuilt email functionality of Smartform for sending the emails.

Is there any option to get the read notification in this case.

Would certainly appreciate quick replies.

Hi,

When I tried using the function module SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 also, I am not able to get the read receipt which was sent.

I passed these parameters.

notif_read = 'X'

notif_ndel = 'X'

notif_del = 'X'

But its not working.

Could you please help me out.

Hi,

passed the parameter like,

data : t_receivers like somlreci1 occurs 0 with header line.

t_receivers-notif_del = 'X'. "Acknowledgment of receipt expected

t_receivers-notif_ndel = 'X'. "Email failure notification

t_receivers-NOTIF_READ = 'X'. "Read acknowledgment expected
