regarding version check

Hi abapers,

How do we find out the version which is used in the SAP system, ie., whether its ECC 5.0 or 6.0?what is the tcode for that?

go to menu bar of you screen and in that click on SYSTEM then STATUS, in SAP system data area in Basisrealeas you can find the sap version.

use the system variable sy-saprl

Just go to System --> Status on the menu bar. There check for SAP System data.

Here you will find a field named Component version. This generally shows you the version of the SAP system that you have logged into. For more detailed info, just click the magnifier icon just below the field and look for SAP_APPL component. This will give you the exact ECC version as well as other components like BASIS and ABAP.

For this just goto system --> status.

now u will get one screen where in the right hand side corner u will find sap system data get the version of sap.
