i m having multiple implementation's for a Badi......Ex: invoice_update...

which one will trigger fisrt from these implementations....?

Hi,

BADI Implementation, which is activated, will be executed only.

Rest of the implementation will be deactivated at that time.

We need to activate the BADI implementation, we want to run.

If any other implementation is activated, deactivate it.

Hi Srinivas,

If the BADI which you are implementing is a Multiple implementation BADI then,

(1) More than one Active implementations for that BADI may exists.

(2) But the ORDER in which these implementations are executed cannot be determined. (There is no solution to predict the sequence of executions of the Implemenations for the same BADI.)

If the BADI which you are implementing is a Single implementation BADI then,

(1) Only one Active Implementations exists at any point of execution.

Hi Srinivas,

The BADI implementations will be execute one by one if they are activated. SAP does not give rules how sequence does these implementations execute. So the implementation should not depend on others.

Hi all,

On the same topic, I want to know as a Customer if there is a good practice concerning creating multiple implementations for same Badi when multiple flag is checked. I can see that multiple developers working on theirs. This is convenient. In the case where they are all executed, no filter, what is the point? Would it be better controlled if all logic be contained in one implementation and it can help with maintenance in later days?
