How to identify a given table is SAP standard table or not.

Ive a table called RVSEL but i want to know whether it is a standard one or not?

I think it is a standard table, because its initial is not Z or Y.

All the tables which doesnt start from Z or Y are sap standard tables.

This is a standard table as it does not cotain Y or Z as intials.

i want to know apart from Z or Y is ther any possiblity for a table not to be a standard one.

Hi,

Generally any object which does not start withba Y or Z is a standard SAP object. Secondly RVSEL is not a table but a structure only which has Work Area Selection Indicator for Reporting.

Yes, there is. But that is not your question here (see above).

These are starting to look like interview questions (which are not allowed - you need to use the search or ask specific questions when you really get stuck somewhere).

Customer tables could also start with T9 or A9, among others.

Sure shot way to tell is to check out the original system in the object directory entry.

If "SAP" -> SAP standard table.

Why don't you keep it all together in one thread (or at least less threads) so that folks can understand what the context is?

Spreading the questions out all over the place makes the questions look silly (you have to admit that?) and no one except you knows what you really want in the end.

There have been many requests coming in for your threads to be deleted, and I'm loosing power. I don't know how much longer I can hold it. Please give it a try to improve the questions.

THis is the actual issue with currency:

During the selection of purchase orders for the Intrastat declaration (transaction

MEIS), incorrect results occur in the determination of the statistical value if a

translation of the local currency into the document currency or the currency of

declaration are required. The cause of this is an incorrect exchange rate in the

translation of the document currency into the local currency.

Furthermore, the system logic for the currency translation is not documented

sufficiently.

Other terms

ENPA, Intrastat, MEIS, currency, translation, exchange rate, factor, RECHNWEAK,

invoice value, GRENZWEAK, statistical value, RMIMST00, RMEXST00, RVEXEX01, RMIMSELS,

factor, TCURR

Reason and Prerequisites

This problem is caused by a program error. An incorrect date is used when the exchange

rate table is accessed.

A function is missing: Manual changes to the exchange rate are not taken into account

when the invoice receipt is posted.

The documentation is incomplete.

Solution

Solution description:

o If an invoice receipt can be assigned to a goods receipt, the system uses the

posting date (previously: the document date) of the invoice receipt as the date

for accessing the exchange rate table. This is in accordance with the

standard logic for determining the exchange rate when the invoice receipt is

entered.

o An additional parameter is available on the selection screen. If this parameter

is selected, the exchange rate is not determined from Customizing but read from

the invoice document.

Comment I:

It is required to select this new parameter if the exchange rate of

the invoice receipt does not match the exchange rate of Customizing, for

example, if the exchange rate is manually set when the invoice receipt is

entered or if the exchange rate table (TCURR) is subsequently changed.

Comment II:

If this parameter is selected, the number of database accesses

increases. As a result, the runtime of the report may increase significantly. You should therefore check

whether the parameter must be set at all to receive a correct result.

Comment III:

In rare cases, deselecting the parameter leads to a correct result

whereas selecting the paramter leads to an incorrect result. Basically, the

exchange rate table should no longer be changed once an exchange rate read from

it was used in a document.
