mandatory fields in bdc

In bdc during the uploading of the data through the transaction we see different screen in some specific transaction the data in the first screen gets uploaded similarly some of the fields in the second screen gets papulated n gets uploaded into the database but how should i find out which of the fields in the specific screen are the mandatory fields .......

plz any one help me out in undestanding this better ,

Hi ,

before going to recording in BDC, u need to check the transaction manually.While doing that maually u can identify mandatory fields. with out entering the mandatory fields screen will not allow you to go to next screen. then in recording fill those fields.

before doing a recording for a particular transaction, please check the mandatory field required by running the transaction code manually.

While you do the transaction recording, you will know what fields are mandatory.
