Convert binary content to ASCII format

Dear All,

I have used the FM SCMS_DOC_READ to read the contents of a document.

The output, however, is in binary format. To convert this into text I have used the FM SCMS_BINARY_TO_TEXT. This did not succeed and the ouput is junk value.

Please help me to convert the data into a useable format.

Hi Suman,

Check whether you are using table

CONTENT_TXT of type SDOKCNTASC for reading the data or not.

Table CONTENT_BIN of type SDOKCNTBIN Contains the data in binary form.

Try Declaring an internal table of type SDOKCNTASC and use it to get the read data.

Hi Amit,

The internal table text is indeed declared as type table of SDOKCNTASC.

The value that is stored in the internal table is in junk format.

Please let me know if there is any other solution to achieve this functionality
