Hi John,

I'm starting a similar analysis of my own and came across your post. I understand what you are looking for in terms of a discrete FM to simulate the logic used in KKAS, although it does not appear that a generic 'WIP function module' exists. The closest thing I am able to find thus far is SAPKKA07 which could possibly be embellished. Were you able to find anything better since your original post?

Regards,

Adam

Dear Experts,

I have a small question. I am going to input WIP by hands thus, that those values were taken correctly into account by FI and CO-PA modules. My case is not a standard way since I am not going to use transactions like KKAO, KKAS, etc. But I need to know where they store results and how they propogate values to FI and CO modules. There is a SAPMKKAC program where I had a look but did not find out what i need.

Please, help if you can,

Thanks in advance,

John

p.s. b.t.w. whiсh function calculates wip?

Edited by: John Smith on Nov 4, 2008 12:40 PM

Edited by: John Smith on Nov 4, 2008 12:46 PM

Please search in the link i hope you can get the answer.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_di471/helpdata/en/90/ba6609446711d189420000e829fbbd/content.htm

Cheers!!

VEnk@

Thank you very much for your reply,

I had a look at the link. Unfortunately, there is no an info in terms of ABAP programming itself. I mean, which function calculates WIP, which parameters and tables propogate to FI and CO. The problem is that current situation is not sutable for our purposes.

Thanks in advance,

John

I assume that fm module K_WIP_EXPLAIN and some functions from class CL_COA_EXPLAIN_WIP could be useful but I am not completly sure.

Please, let me know if that was helpful.

With best wishes,

John
