Hi,

Anyone know create asset master(AS01) using function module.

I tried below FM, but cannot.

i tried the FM(BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CREATE).

but i couldn't create assets.

it shows the error like this : 11111111111 this asset number not in the companycode(0001).

so i dont know how to recover this problem,

Use the FM BAPI_FIXEDASSET_OVRTAKE_CREATE and commit the transaction using BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after calling the FM.

If you need to create new assets, the BAPI is :

BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CREATE ( AS01 )

If you need to create/copy an asset from another system ( legacy ), as this is not a new asset, you'll need to use :

BAPI_FIXEDASSET_OVRTAKE_CREATE ( AS91 )

Contact your functional person and see what asset classes are alowed for the company code.
