Retrieve Data From SAP TABLE

Hi,

Is it possible to retreive data from SAP by jst reading a Query in XML file which is sent from a Non-SAP System and convert that particular output again into an XML file for posting back to that Non-SAP system.

Suggestion to this will be much appreciated

Yes the scenario which u want is possible with SAP XI(Exchange Infrastructure)... if want to know more then u can see the blogs in XI..
