Issue with output types

Hi Friends,

I want to know in which table generated Output messages are storing before Saving the PO.

I am creating PO . for that vendor 4 different output types are attached.for the first time after saving the PO these messages are generated and are in Yellow at that time these messages are storing in NAST table with status '0' after releasing the PO these mesages becomes RED(Incorrectllt processed ) or Green (Correctlly Processed ).

Later

I did the changes to the PO and messages are generated before saving the PO and these messages are in YELLOW (Not processed ) at this time in which table these messages are storing ( NAST table is not updating at this time, after saving the PO these messages are updated in NAST table with processed status.

Please let me know in which table these generated messages are storing before saving the PO

Hi,

They are held in the global memory of function group V61B as they are maintained via the funciton module RV_MESSAGES_MAINTENANCE. They are saved in NAST once a commit is issued.

Thnx for your responce.I want to read the messages which are generated before saving the PO and based on some conditions I want to delete some of those messages .

Could you please let me know how to read those messages.

Just use a requirement routine to delete the unwanted message from the POs

I can't use the requirements. these requirememts get triggred once the output gets triggred. I don't want to trigger the O/P types. I have the plave where to write the code before that I want to read the generated message.

Some requirements get triggered while the output is being determined.

Anyways, you can also maintain conditions records based on which the output will be determined.

Hi,

Po information is coming from the external system .we r handling the condition records also.for example for for one vendor 4 different messages are generated . for the user which is triggring from the external system I want to delete some of the message and should not delete the same messages, for the changes whcih are held at R/3.

Hi,

if you want an output type to be added to the PO based on some condition - then you have to use Requirements.

But, if you want to totally avoid an output type then do the following

go to tcode [NACE] -> Select Application EF ->press "Procedures" Button-> select procedure "RMBEF1" -> Press "Control" Button and delete the output types you dont want. save the settings. this way the deleted output types will not attach to th PO.

your requirement will get trigerred at 2 times, one before creating the output, 2nd at processing of the output, and you can put whatever code you want at these events.

so in your case, if you dont want it to be generated, just use the create event, else if you want to delete afterwards, just use the process event.

another way for you to chaneg the output timing from process immediately to something else in the message type. then you will have these messages in NAST unprocessed, and you can do what you want to do there

for what? its your issue, and we can only suggest the ways here, Ultimately you have to decide what is best as per your requirements

I mean I can't do in that method.I have 2 options here one after o/p types processed second one after generating before processing I am looking for this.pls don't missunderstand me

How is the flow of data here ? Is it from one R3 system to another ? You want to control the output types from the sending system, right ?

If you have maintained the conditions records for the output types for which the output should not be determined, then delete those condition records for those respective output types. The output will not be determined then.

Data is coming from Non SAP to R/3 and changing the PO's using BAPI. I want to delete unwanted generated messages before BAPI Commit. these unwanted messages may vary from vendor to Vendor which may need if the PO gets changed in R/3 itself.Only thing i want is from where I need to get these genereated messages for that PO .I can handle the same functionality after triggreing the Output types in worrest case I can go for this.

Here is the answer for this.

I created new requirement by coping the standard requirement and assigned this requirement to all the ouptput types.this requirement gets triggered for currentlly generated message for that out put type. here I wrote my code whcih is woking fine.

Same thing we achive by another way also

we can write the code in driver programs of the each output type/ by doing this outputs gets triggred and messages get updated in NAST Table which we can delete from NAST.

In my case I am not suppose to trigger the output types. for this reason I followed the first case
